Kahiki Restaurant Tamarindo is a popular bar in the evening and a popular spot for breakfast or brunch. It offers plentiful selections featuring Pacific Rim, from Thailand to Hawaii, inspired cuisine and beverages. Like most restaurants in Tamarindo, Kahiki’s is an open-aired traditional thatched roof rancho with active woods and bamboo decor, located on the road to Langosta beach and just off the beach.
Kahiki Restaurant & Sports Bar has Chef Steve, a New York trained, whose menu is filled with enticing and creative dishes offering a wide variety of flavors, such as Thai shrimp spring rolls with pineapple-mango dipping sauce, Kona Mountain black bean humus, flavorful Woody burgers, filet Mignon marinated in Chipolte house rub, fresh seafood of the day, and with some deviations from the Pacific Rim theme, such as the Mediterranean chicken breast with couscous and sauteed spinach. All without leaving their gourmet desserts like triple chocolate brownies, fresh apple strudel and many more.
If you’re looking for great food, great service and a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a few drinks, this is the place. They usually have great live music, WiFi access, and this is also a very good place to watch American sports which is a great bonus!
